This website is a not-for-profit website

This website operates on a strict not-for-profit basis.

Our sources

We only publish details which we can trace to an original UK Police Source. We do not publish any appeals from the general public. This is to ensure the appeal is bonafide and that the person being sought is not in danger from a potential abuser.

With each appeal we will publish at least one hyperlink to an official police source. This is usually a link to the relevant police website, their Twitter feed or their Facebook feed. Look for the logos following the appeal.

Where possible we always publish the Incident Number or reference alongside the 101 or 999 phone number.

* Once the missing-person is found the police usually delete their original post to indicate the appeal is over. So, from time to time, you may see a "page not found" message until we catch up and indicate the person has been located.
